FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHRISTIAN APOCALYPTIC FEATURE ABLE TO STAND TO BEGIN FILMING IN LATE SUMMER 2026

AUGUST 3, 2026 — Canadian independently financed faith-based prophetic thriller begins production in British Columbia, adapting an established Bible-prophecy ministry’s work for a worldwide film audience.

Day 1335 Productions, Ltd. will begin filming Able to Stand, an independent Christian apocalyptic drama, on August 17, 2026.

The film follows Leah Tate, a young woman who has spent years distancing herself from the Bible prophecies she was raised to believe. When war, economic upheaval, religious mandates and global deception begin unfolding around her, Leah must decide whether the warnings she rejected are becoming reality—and whether she is spiritually prepared for what comes next.

The title, drawn from Revelation 6:17, points to the 144,000 who remain faithful through the events laid out in Daniel and Revelation that culminate at the Second Coming. Able to Stand explores faith, loss, persecution, deception and the cost of obedience when following God becomes dangerous.

Principal photography is scheduled for August 17 through September 18, 2026, filmed in various locations in Kootenay Boundary, BC and Montana. For security reasons, the production will not release its filming base or private locations.

The feature will be directed by Christopher Tempel of Pyro Studios and produced by Tom and Judy Stapleton through Day 1335 Productions, Ltd. The screenplay is based on the biblical research and teachings of Tom Stapleton and his ministry.

Additional cast, production and release information will be announced as it becomes available.
